Getting Started on a Paid Plan
When your Starter trial runs out or you decide you are ready to scale, upgrading to a paid plan unlocks the full power of Chase Agents for continuous production use. This guide explains what changes when you upgrade and how to set yourself up for success in your first paid billing period.
What Changes When You Upgrade
Upgrading to a paid plan removes the action cap that limits free usage and replaces it with your plan's monthly action quota. It also increases your allowed number of active automations, adds more team seats so you can invite colleagues, and upgrades your support tier. The platform interface, automation builder, and all features remain the same. Nothing needs to be rebuilt.
The Upgrade Process
Upgrading is done by workspace admins from the workspace settings panel. Click Upgrade, select your plan on the Pricing page, and complete checkout through Stripe. Your new plan limits are active immediately after payment. There is no downtime and no migration required. Automations that were paused due to trial exhaustion can be re-enabled right away.
First Steps After Upgrading
- Re-enable any automations that were paused when your trial actions ran out.
- Invite team members who were waiting for available seats.
- Review your automation run schedules and confirm they are set to the frequency you actually need.
- Check your usage dashboard at the end of the first week to see your action consumption rate and confirm you are on the right plan tier.
Monitoring Usage on a Paid Plan
From the workspace settings panel, you can see your current billing period's action consumption, remaining quota, and a breakdown by automation. Set a mental benchmark for your expected daily action consumption and check in weekly for the first month to make sure you are tracking within budget. If consumption is higher than expected, the breakdown view will help you identify which automations are the largest consumers.
Connecting Your Team
With additional seats available, you can now invite team members from the workspace people page. Invited members receive an email with a link to join the workspace. Once they accept and create an account, they can view automations, start agent sessions, and (depending on their role) build new automations. Workspace admins control what each member can do within the workspace.
